This seafood restaurant has a small chain of restaurants in three London locations. So no matter where you are, there’s bound to be a Wright Brothers near you. Wright Brothers Ltd are a seafood merchant for the Borough of London. They supply fresh fish and other seafood delicacies for their small restaurants in Soho, Borough Market, Spitalfields, South Kensington and Battersea Power Station.


Passionate about seafood and the mysteries and wonders of the sea, they fish responsibly for fresh, local and traditional seafood to bring you nothing but the best of what the sea has to offer. Bentley’s Oyster Bar and Grill in Mayfair is perfect for that fine dining feel. As the name states, they’re main feature and unique quality is their oyster bar. At the top of their menu is an exquisite selection of oysters from various locations from around the UK and other areas of the world such as Carlingford, Dorset, Jersey, Catalan, Vietnamese and Rockefeller.

There is also ‘Bonnie Hour’ much like happy hour in which they serve cocktails for £6, oysters for £1 and prosecco for £5. They mainly serve fish and chips and a variety of seafood delights. The best news is, they reserve most of their seats for walk-ins, so you don’t even need to book before you eat!


4. Prawn on the Lawn

This fishmonger and seafood bar in Highbury Corner is one that is sure to please the taste buds. Their simple yet dynamic menu offers a range of seafood dishes. As their name states ‘Prawn on the Lawn’, they’re a fun and vibrant restaurant that loves a play with words, making your dining experience there much more than just simply sitting and eating.


There menu consists of Seared tuna with soy, mirin, spring onion and chilli, Whole crispy red mullet, lemon and olive oil. They also serve platters for sharing, ‘fish for the table’ a whole fish of your choice perfect for sharing, oysters and a variety of sides.


Overall, this restaurant offers up a simple, straightforward tasty menu that’s perfect for dining with a large group be it family or friends in a fabulously fun environment that won’t break the bank.


5. Angler

The last restaurant on our list is Angler which is situated in Moorgate. This polished restaurant, cleverly named after a fish, is one that provides multiple services. As well as being a restaurant, it’s also a hotel that offers private dining and events.


They mainly serve an array of different seafood-based dishes. On the list of fish that they serve includes Dorset crab, Cornish mackerel, and raw red prawns, Newlyn cod, and Cornish brill. It’s not just fish that they serve however, they also serve a variety of non-fish dishes such as, coddled egg, roast Lancashire duck, Herdwick lamb and roast quail.


A slightly pricier restaurant that the last one on this list however, based on the variety of dishes served and the hotel amenities, you can't go wrong with spending a luxurious weekend here. So go ahead, don’t be afraid to splash the cash!
